Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of television. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother and an Irish mother and a Mexican father in Columbus Ohio. De La Garza soon moved to Texas, where she studied the field of physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she quickly made the move to Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various roles as an actor as well as independent films and commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for acting. Then she moved to New York. Her first gig was in the soap opera All My Children. During the early part of 2000 she was seen in tiny part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first major series was on The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared 85 times. Then she joined the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress on TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV show. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was with NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The show was later cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She was born Italian as well as having a 10 year old younger brother who is named Cory. Her family was an orthodox and religious family. Milano began her acting career when she was seven when her babysitter joined her at an audition. Her audition was in the top 1000 applicants. Milano was chosen as one of just four girls. Milano was featured in commercials in both Broadway and on TV and in the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
